Creating a paste that contains sandalwood powder is also highly effective. Just mix the powder with some milk or rose water and apply it to the face before you go to bed. When you wash it off in the morning your will notice your acne has disappeared and even your pores will look smaller.

Cinnamon and honey are all very strong antibacterial agents and you can mix together a teaspoon of ground cinnamon and a tablespoon of honey and leave it on your face for about 30 minutes. You will see an immediate change in your acne.

Along with these methods you also need to prevent the acne from forming in the first place and this will require a good skincare regimen.
